Viva and CMC – Church Mission Society accompany the Anglican church in the region, starting the certification process in Peru. More than 100 people, including leaders and priests, begin the international certification process “Churches that Protect,” which Viva promotes globally. The commitment of the Bishop in Peru is evident by joining the initiative, creating the conditions to promote and generate a culture of protection throughout the country. His presence during the training sessions and his strong commitment motivate us and fill us with hope.
Ten leading pastors have also been trained to form the nationwide protection network that will push andguided the certification process in each local churh, so each church has its Protection Committee, its protection policy, its plan to implement the policy and, its code of conduct.
