Ñemby is a city whose population has been one of the most growing in percentage terms. In the year 2,000, the total population was 63,498 inhabitants, of which 39,994 NNA (15,648 boys and 15,345 girls) representing 48.81% of the total population, and by 2015 it had increased to 109,969, of which 45,280 NNA (22,940 boys). and 22,440 girls) representing 41.26% of the total population. At present, after 18 years the population has doubled since many people migrated to Ñemby because it is a city near Asunción, the capital of the country and where part of the population finds a formal or informal job.
With the exponential population growth, several problems for children and adolescents have also grown. If the network does not act today, there is no other clear proposal for a local solution that can establish a paradigm of transcendent joint work in the short, medium and long term. The children of Ñemby today need a concrete and transcendental solution.
The two situational mappings developed in 2016 and 2019 that show the perception of 1500 people, which converge with local data from the Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents. The city’s District Hospital, the local police station, the Educational Supervisions, among other institutions, present the following work priorities.
Prevention and care of cases of violence, abuse, abandonment and drug addiction of adolescents
